The mission of the church:
The mission of the Church of the Nazarene is to respond to the Great Commission of Christ to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28 v 19). The primary objective of the Church of the Nazarene is to advance God’s kingdom by the preservation and propagation of Christian holiness as set forth in the Scriptures.”
The critical objectives of the Church of the Nazarene are ‘holy Christian fellowship, the conversion of sinners, the entire sanctification of believers, their up-building in holiness and the simplicity and spiritual power manifest in the primitive New Testament Church, together with the preaching of the gospel to every creature.
Why The Church Exists
The Church of the Nazarene exists to serve as an instrument for advancing the kingdom of God through the preaching and teaching of the gospel throughout the world. Our well-defined commission is to preserve and propagate Christian holiness as set forth in the Scriptures, through the conversion of sinners, the reclamation of backsliders, and the entire sanctification of believers.
The Aim of the Church
Our objective is a spiritual one, namely, to evangelize as a response to the Great Commission of our Lord to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19; John 20:21; Mark 16:15). We believe that this aim can be realized through agreed-upon policies and procedures, including doctrinal tenets of faith and time-tested standards of morality and lifestyle.
Proverbs 3 verse 5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Don’t pray small prayers, pray big and trust His almightiness. Pray beyond what we are able to think or imagine. Trust Him, to do exceedingly, abundantly, more than we are able to ask or think. Not through our own strength, but through the power working within us. Our God is able.

We need to live in a way that people can see; the Lord is coming. Somehow, we lack that excitement for Him today. We know what the end times will look like because Jesus told us. We will face all types of persecution. But be prepared for when Jesus comes. Expect His return. We need to live as if Jesus is returning. This is not the end – Christ is returning.

No matter the storm, God never fails. God is faithful. Acknowledge your storm and acknowledge that you are drowning. But God is in your boat. He says, “Peace, be still”. Don’t worry, I am God.
